Amazon says it has a new robot for its warehouses. It is called Vulcan. This robot can 'feel' some of the things it touches.
The Vulcan robot has two arms that help it move things in Amazon's storage areas. It has sensors to feel when it touches something. One arm moves things around, and the other arm, which has a camera and a suction cup, picks things up.
Amazon says their robot, Vulcan, learned from real information, like how much force to use and how things feel. It can pick about 75% of Amazon's items and can learn to get better. The robot is used in Spokane, Washington, and Hamburg, Germany. It has already handled 500,000 orders.
Vulcan is a new robot that helps in Amazon's warehouses. Amazon has many robots in its buildings around the world to send out customer orders. Some people say Amazon uses robots to replace workers, but Amazon says robots like Vulcan make the warehouses safer.
