Some people think TikTok makes it hard to focus. But many people are watching a long, slow show from a Swedish TV channel they don't know. It's time for the Great Moose Migration.

For thousands of years, moose have crossed the Ångerman River every spring to find warmer places for the summer. Since 2019, people all over the world can watch this journey online for three weeks. A Swedish TV channel shows it live using more than 30 cameras to see everything that happens.

The live stream usually shows calm views of trees and rivers. If you are lucky, you might see a moose walking by. It does not know it is famous around the world. It is just a moose, walking slowly and not worrying about anything.

Usually, the stream is quiet. Sometimes, you hear the wind and the birds. It's nice, even if you forget you have the stream open and are surprised by birds far away.

A student from Sweden told the AP: "I feel relaxed, but I also think, 'Oh, there's a moose. What if there's a moose? I can't go to the toilet!'

The stream continues throughout the night, allowing us to see the moose even in the dark thanks to night vision cameras. However, the black and white image reminds some people of a scary movie rather than a nature documentary. Nevertheless, seeing a moose at night is still exciting, even if the picture isn't perfect.

Last year, 9 million people watched SVT's video of moose online. This is a good number compared to bigger shows.

People like this kind of live video because it is very different from what we usually see online. TikTok videos are short and personal, so you keep watching. YouTubers work hard to make their videos interesting so you stay and watch for a long time.

However, the moose don't seem to need anything from us. They aren't even aware of our presence, watching them.
