Amazon has a new robot for its warehouse. It is called Vulcan. Amazon says this robot can feel some things it touches.
The two-armed robot, called Vulcan, works in Amazon warehouses. It moves things in the storage areas. Vulcan has sensors that help it feel when it touches something. One arm puts things in order, and the second arm, which has a camera and a cup that can pick things up, takes items.
Amazon says Vulcan learned by touching things to pick about 75% of products and can get better over time. It is used in warehouses in the US and Germany and has helped with 500,000 orders.
Vulcan is a new robot in Amazon's warehouses. Amazon has many robots, like Vulcan, that help get customer orders ready in its buildings around the world. Some people say Amazon uses robots instead of people, but the company says robots like Vulcan make the warehouses safer.
