Google's app for iPhones has a new button. This button makes difficult words on websites easy to read. You can use it on the page you are looking at.
Simplify helps people understand text better.
Google wants you to use its tool called Simplify to understand hard things.
You can make text easier to read. Choose text in the Google app. Tap the Simplify icon. You will see easier text to understand.
Google's blog shows how this works.
This sickness hurts the lungs in two ways. One way is called emphysema. It damages small air bags in the lungs. The other way is called fibrosis. It makes hard places in the lungs. Also, small cells that fight sickness in the lungs change. The body makes more things to control these cells. The tubes that carry blood in the lungs also change a lot.
Google says this idea helps people understand hard things online.
Google said, "We want our models to say hard ideas in an easy way and be correct. The new words must help people understand hard things and not change the main idea."
Simplify is coming to iPhones this week.
