TikTok now shows reviews for places in video comments. You can see what people think about a place in the video comments. This helps you learn about a place without searching more.
If you have the new TikTok feature, you will see a 'Reviews' button on the right when you look at comments.
For example, if you see a video of Central Park in New York, you can see what people think. You can see their stars, their words, and their pictures.
You can click on a name to see their TikTok page.
Some people like the new feature. Other people think there is too much on the screen.
TikTok wants to be a place where people search for things, like Google.
In 2022, a person from Google said young people used TikTok more than Google Search and Maps. Now, TikTok is big like Google in some ways.
Also, TikTok helps young people find places. Last year, TikTok added a way to search with pictures. You can take a photo or use one you have to find similar things in TikTok Shop.
In September 2024, TikTok started putting ads on the search page. Companies can put their ads there.
We don't know if TikTok will show reviews on more videos. TikTok did not say. Some videos with a location show the reviews.
