On Thursday night, the Edmonton Oilers beat the Florida Panthers 5-4 in overtime in the Stanley Cup Final. The Oilers were losing by three goals but came back to win, making the series tied. It was a very exciting game. Leon Draisaitl from the Oilers scored his fourth overtime goal in the playoffs, which is a new NHL record. Even though the Oilers were down 3-0 at first, they tied the score by the end of the second period. The Oilers then got ahead in the third period, but the Panthers scored in the last few seconds to tie it again, sending the game into overtime. The Oilers made history as the first away team since 1919 to win a final game after being three goals behind. The series is now tied 2-2, and Game 5 will be played in Edmonton on Saturday.
