The Emmy Awards will move to Prime Video starting in 2027.
Amazon and the Television Academy announced a six-year deal on Tuesday.
This ends a seven-decade run of broadcast networks airing the ceremony.
The show has aired on a broadcast network every year since 1955.
For the past three decades, the Emmys rotated yearly between ABC, CBS, Fox and NBC.
That arrangement was known as the "Wheel Deal."
Cris Abrego, chairman of the Television Academy, said continuity was a big reason for the change.
He said the rotation meant the Academy was "starting over every year."
The Emmys will still air free of charge, and no Prime Video subscription will be required.
The move follows a similar deal sending the Oscars to YouTube.
But unlike that deal, which starts in 2029, this one takes effect immediately.
Mike Hopkins, head of Prime Video and Amazon MGM Studios, said the company hopes to grow and younger the audience.
Emmy viewership has fallen from over 20 million at its peak to around 7 million now.
Abrego said the Academy wants reach and access, and felt Amazon matched that goal.
