In June, people felt more positive about the economy. This was the first time in six months. Prices are stable, and the US and China have stopped their trade disagreements for a short time. A survey showed that people's positive feelings went up by 16%, from 52.2 to 60.5. But this is still lower than in December 2024. This happened after President Trump decided not to add more taxes on goods from many countries. He also made a short agreement with China. This helped to make people less worried about the economy. However, taxes in the US are still high. They might affect the economy more in the coming months. People's feelings about the economy also depend on their political views. Republicans feel more positive than Democrats. But this month, people from both parties and those who are independent felt better. The Federal Reserve will probably be happy that people think prices will not go up as much in the future.
