Asian markets dropped on Friday after Israel attacked near Iran's capital. This event has increased concerns about Iran's nuclear program, causing oil prices, including U.S. and Brent crude oil, to rise a lot. Stock markets in Tokyo, Seoul, Hong Kong, Shanghai, and Australia all went down. However, Xu Tiachen from The Economist Intelligence thinks Asian markets will probably get better quickly. This is because they are not very involved in the conflict and have stronger business connections with stable regions like Saudi Arabia and the UAE. On Thursday, U.S. stock markets went up after good news about inflation. This news also led to lower government bond yields, suggesting that the Federal Reserve might lower interest rates later this year. Despite this, people are still worried about how Trump's changing tariffs could affect inflation and the chance of a recession.
