He sent his message at 4:16 a.m. in Tehran. Araghchi also said: "Our army will decide later when to stop fighting."

The Israeli army did not say anything about Trump's ceasefire statement. Also, Benjamin Netanyahu's office did not answer quickly when they were asked for a comment.

In Israel, the war has killed at least 24 people and hurt more than 1,000. A group called Human Rights Activists says that Israeli attacks on Iran have killed at least 974 people and hurt 3,458 others.

The group shared numbers of people who died in Iran. For example, during the protests when Mahsa Amini died in 2022. They said that 387 of the people who died were not part of the army or police. And 268 were from the army or police.

The U.S. has helped about 250 Americans and their close family members leave Israel. They went on flights from the government, military, and special planes. These flights started a few days ago, an official said. People think that around 700,000 Americans are in Israel, and many of them are also citizens of Israel.
