Ukraine's Security Service announced that a drone attack destroyed over 40 Russian planes inside Russia, while Russia continued its missile and drone attacks on Ukraine. This attack was reportedly planned for over a year and a half, and President Zelenskyy personally managed it. The operation involved secretly bringing special drones into Russia and hiding them in mobile wooden shelters. At the right moment, these drones were sent out to hit Russian bombers. This attack is believed to have destroyed 34% of Russia’s air missile carriers, causing about $7 billion in damage. Meanwhile, peace talks between Ukraine and Russia are still planned to happen in Istanbul. A senior defense official said that the U.S. had not seen such a complex attack before. In response, Russia launched more drones and missiles at Ukraine, which caused at least 12 Ukrainian soldiers to die and over 60 others to be injured.
