Karol Nawrocki, a conservative, has won the election to be president in Poland. This might make the country more focused on its own nation. Donald Trump and the Law and Justice party supported Nawrocki. He won with 50.89% of the votes, beating Rafal Trzaskowski. This win makes the future of Prime Minister Donald Tusk's government unclear. The President can stop new laws, which might make it difficult for Tusk to work with other European countries. Some people now want Tusk to leave his job. Nawrocki is a historian and a boxer, and he stands for traditional values. Trump and Marco Rubio were happy about his win. Ursula von der Leyen congratulated him, but she also talked about being united and safe.
