On Wednesday, a large warship broke at Chongjin port. Kim was there when a part of the ship fell off during a special event. Pictures from space showed the ship on its side, partly in the water, and covered with blue cloth.

Kim was very angry about what happened. The warship is very important for his plan to make his country's navy better. He quickly said that military officers, scientists, and shipyard workers were responsible. He called it a "crime" because they were very careless and did not do their jobs well.

On Monday, the Korean Central News Agency said that the police arrested Ri Hyong Son. He works for the Workers Party. Ri Hyong Son said he was "very sorry" because the rocket launch failed.

KCNA said on Sunday that three officials from Chongjin Shipyard were arrested because of the incident. They were the main engineer, the person in charge of building the ship's body, and the assistant manager for office work.

Hong Kil Ho, the shipyard manager, was also called to answer questions. KCNA said this before.

On Thursday, North Korea's Central Military Commission told investigators that the people who did this bad thing must take responsibility. But we don't know what will happen to the officials they arrested.

When Kim first became leader, he was known for ordering the killing of many important people, including his uncle. People believe he did this to make his power stronger and remove anyone who might threaten him.
