一名移民及海關執法局（ICE）官員克里斯蒂安·卡斯特羅在德克薩斯州獲釋。
他因在明尼阿波利斯槍擊一名男子並謊報事件而被起訴。
週四，他從布朗斯維爾的拘留中心獲釋，此前法官拒絕下令將其遣返明尼蘇達州。
卡斯特羅被控襲擊和虛假報告罪，涉及1月14日槍擊24歲的胡里奧·塞薩爾·索薩-塞利斯。
檢察官稱，他通過前門開槍擊中對方腿部，並虛假指控對方襲擊ICE官員。
他於5月被捕，但根據德克薩斯州法律，拘留90天后必須獲釋。
美國地區法官費爾南多·羅德里格斯二世表示，他無法阻止釋放，也無法命令州長格雷格·阿博特簽署引渡令。
