President Trump wants Dr. Casey Means to be the main health advisor for the country.

Trump wrote online on Wednesday that Means is very good for his "Make America Healthy Again" plan. He said she will work to stop serious illnesses and make Americans healthier and happier.

"Her studies and her work are very good," Trump said. "Dr. Casey Means could be a very good Surgeon General for the United States."

Because of this, Trump decided not to choose Janette Nesheiwat for the job. She used to talk about health on Fox News. This was the second time Trump stopped someone he chose for a health job from being approved by the Senate. Janette Nesheiwat was going to speak to a Senate group on Thursday to see if they would approve her.

Means and her brother helped Kennedy when he wanted to be president. Then, they helped him support Trump.

Casey Means has not worked in government before. She also stopped her training to become a surgeon because she did not like traditional medicine anymore. She started a company called Levels. This company uses technology to help people check their blood sugar and other health numbers. Casey also makes money from selling health products like pills, creams, and teas. She advertises these products on her social media.

In talks and writings, Means and her brother say that many things make people in the country unhealthy. For example, big food companies make Americans eat bad food. This makes people need medicine every day from drug companies for problems like being too fat, diabetes, and other sicknesses that don't go away.

Most doctors agree that the food Americans eat, which has a lot of processed things, is a reason why people are overweight and have other health problems. But Means says more. He thinks that changes in how people eat and live are connected to many health issues, like not being able to have children, memory problems, feeling very sad, and problems with sex.

Many health problems that doctors treat happen because our cells are hurt by the way we live, Means said in a book she wrote with her brother in 2024.

Means has mostly avoided Kennedy's ideas about vaccines that many people don't agree with and are not true. But on her website, she says we should look into how safe vaccines are more.
