President Trump chose Dr. Casey Means to be the main doctor for the country. He chose her after his first choice did not work out.

Trump said online on Wednesday that Means is a good choice for "Make America Healthy Again." He said she will work to stop long-term illnesses and make Americans healthier and happier.

"Her success in school and her work are really great," Trump said. "Dr. Casey Means could be one of the best Surgeon Generals in the history of the United States."

Because of this, Trump decided not to choose Janette Nesheiwat for the job. She used to talk about health on Fox News. This was not the first time someone Trump chose for a health job was not considered by the Senate. Nesheiwat was going to talk to the Senate committee on Thursday to see if she could get the job.

Means and her brother helped Kennedy with his plan to become president and helped him support Trump.

Casey Means has not worked in government and stopped her training to be a doctor. She said she did not like traditional medicine. She started a company called Levels that helps people see their blood sugar and other health numbers. She also gets money from selling health products like vitamins, creams, and teas on her social media.

In talks and articles, Means and her brother say that many things make people in the country sick. They say that big food companies make Americans eat food that is not good for them. Because of this, people need medicine every day from drug companies for problems like being overweight, diabetes, and other sicknesses that last a long time.

Most doctors agree that the American diet, with lots of processed food, helps cause weight problems. But Means says that changes in diet and life also cause problems like not being able to have children, memory loss, feeling very sad, and men having trouble in bed.

Loomer wrote online this week that the surgeon general should not be someone who supports the COVID vaccine, got their job because of family or friends, is in a legal case about medical mistakes, and did not study medicine in the US.

A journalist named Anthony Clark wrote last month that Nesheiwat said she got her medical degree from one school, but she actually got it from another. The White House did not let her have a job because they were not sure if people would agree.

Nesheiwat wrote online: "I am happy to keep helping President Trump. I will also work with Secretary Kennedy in an important job to make Americans healthier. My main goal is still to make people in America healthier and feel better, and this is still true."
