Elon Musk is leaving his job as an important helper to President Donald Trump. He didn't do all he wanted to change the government and save money. During his time there, many people lost their jobs and some government groups were made smaller. He wanted to save $2 trillion, but only managed to save $150 billion. This made others in the government unhappy. Musk is leaving because he doesn't agree with Trump's plans, especially a spending plan that Musk says will make the country's debt bigger. Even though he is leaving, the White House will still try to use some of his ideas for saving money. But Musk is disappointed with how the government works and will spend less money on politics.
