In that report, the foundation promised $1 billion for AI work in health, education and farming.

The report warned about unrepresentative language data.

This data could make a model mistranslate a pregnant woman in Malawi.

She might say her "water has broken."

She said the "original sin" is that many AI tools trained on data scraped from the internet.

She said the internet is not a representative space.
