Google Cloud had a big problem that made popular online services like Spotify and Discord stop working all over the world. Many users reported issues, and problems with Spotify were most common around 3 p.m. EST. Google Cloud confirmed that the issue affected customers in their own country and abroad. Even though they found the cause and started to fix it, Google Cloud couldn't say when the problem would be completely solved. Google Cloud, which hosts many internet services, is the fastest-growing part of Alphabet Inc. Last year, it made $43.2 billion, which was a 31% increase from 2023, even though Google's search engine still makes most of Alphabet's money.
