Google Cloud 發生了嚴重的故障，導致全球許多常用的網路服務都受到影響，像是 Spotify 和 Discord。有數萬名用戶回報他們的服務出現問題，其中 Spotify 的問題回報在美東時間下午三點達到最多。Google Cloud 已經證實這件事，並表示國內外的客戶都受到了影響。雖然他們已經找到問題的原因並開始處理，但 Google Cloud 無法預計什麼時候能完全修好。Google Cloud 是許多網路服務的重要提供者，也是 Alphabet 公司成長最快的部門，去年賺了 432 億美元，比 2023 年增加了 31%。不過，Alphabet 公司主要的收入來源仍然是 Google 搜尋引擎。
