Coco Gauff, a tennis player from America, won the French Open. This was her second big win, and she had wanted this prize for a long time. Gauff beat Aryna Sabalenka, who is the best player in the world. Before the game, Gauff was inspired by Gabby Thomas, an Olympic winner. Gabby writes positive things about herself, and Gauff did the same. She wrote many times that she would win the French Open. Many people thought she would lose, but Gauff stayed calm during the game. Sabalenka had trouble controlling her feelings. Gauff says it helps her to show her feelings before playing, so she can stay calm during the game. Now, Gauff will play on grass courts and might go to a tournament in Berlin before Wimbledon.
