Shohei Ohtani, a baseball player from Japan, has hit 20 home runs in his first 55 games for the Dodgers. Only two other Dodgers players have done this before him. Ohtani is also the first player since 2023 to do this in all of major league baseball. Ohtani has won the MVP award three times. He hit a home run in a game against the Cleveland Guardians. He often hits home runs, even when he doesn't hit the ball perfectly. He has hit home runs in three games in a row two times this season. Ohtani has been an All-Star four times. He has also hit at least 12 home runs in a month three times since he started playing for the Dodgers.
