The Oklahoma City Thunder beat the Indiana Pacers 123-107 in Game 2 of the NBA Finals, making the series 1-1. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander was the Thunder's best scorer with 34 points, and Alex Caruso added 20 points from the bench. This win was the team's first Finals game victory since 2012. Even though they won Game 1, the Pacers found it hard to compete well in Game 2, despite a short comeback in the third quarter. It's important to note that the Pacers are the first team since Miami in 2013 not to have a player score 20 points in the first two games of the finals. Gilgeous-Alexander also made history by becoming the top scorer in these playoffs. The series will now go to Indianapolis for Game 3, which is the city's first Finals game in 25 years.
