Coco Gauff reached the French Open quarterfinals with a straight-set win, even though she had forgotten her rackets earlier. This led to some friendly teasing from fellow American and quarterfinalist Frances Tiafoe, who had made the same mistake before. Tiafoe jokingly called Gauff "Mrs. Mature," and she replied that professional tennis requires a lot of maturity, admitting she didn't have a good response to his joke. Despite this, Gauff will play Madison Keys in an all-American match in Wednesday's quarterfinals. Gauff also said that people often see her as mature because of her early success in tennis, like when she became famous at Wimbledon at 15 and won her first major title at 19.
