Fueled by Freddie Freeman's two singles and a grand slam triple, the Los Angeles Dodgers achieved a decisive 10-1 victory over the Miami Marlins on Wednesday.
Freeman extended his hitting streak to 12 games with a four-RBI performance. The MLB-leading Dodgers, boasting a 25-12 record, secured their fourth consecutive series victory by taking two out of three games in Miami. Freeman was instrumental in the series, going 8 for 13 with six RBIs and two home runs.
Ohtani Shohei achieved a triple and secured three walks on Wednesday, including an intentional walk during a challenging seventh inning where the team conceded six runs, facing relief pitcher Lake Bachar.
James Outman, the pinch-hitter, extended the Dodgers' lead by hitting a three-run homer in the ninth inning.
Landon Knack, boasting a 2-0 record, was immediately elevated from Triple-A Oklahoma City and, upon his Wednesday debut, masterfully pitched a four-hit shutout, striking out five batters. Concurrently promoted, Matt Sauer relieved Knack for the final four innings, securing his first save.

Jesús Sánchez notably secured the Marlins' solitary run through a sacrifice fly in the ninth inning, following his impactful single in the sixth.
In the seventh inning, the Dodgers' game flow took a decisive turn after pitcher Daniel Hudson took the mound. Hudson allowed a walk, a single, and a subsequent single that resulted in a run. With first base open, Hudson intentionally walked Shohei Ohtani, then issued another walk to Mookie Betts with the bases loaded. Following this, Freddie Freeman hit a bases-clearing triple, and subsequently drove in another run with a single.
The Dodgers were limited to just one hit off Weathers through the initial five innings but subsequently amassed eleven hits against four Marlins relievers.
The Dodgers will commence a four-game series against Arizona on Thursday, with right-hander Yoshinobu Yamamoto (4-2, 0.90) taking the mound, while the Marlins, having a day off on Thursday, will initiate their three-game set versus the Chicago White Sox on Friday, featuring right-hander Max Meyer (2-3, 3.92) as the starting pitcher.
