Ye, also known as Kanye West, made a short visit to the New York sex trafficking trial of Sean “Diddy” Combs on Friday. He was not allowed inside the courtroom but watched the trial from another room on a video screen. Ye said he was there to support Combs, who is a long-time friend, but he did not say if he would speak for Combs in court. In the trial, Combs says he is not guilty of claims that he used his fame, money, and violence to commit sex trafficking and other serious crimes for more than twenty years. People who saw what happened, including a woman called "Jane," spoke about forced sexual acts that Combs supposedly planned. At the same time, an argument started about where a juror lived. Combs' lawyers said that trying to remove this juror was an attempt to get rid of a Black juror. The judge replied that even without this juror, the jury would still have people from different backgrounds.
