In June, people felt more positive about the economy for the first time in six months. Prices are not changing much, and the US made a short agreement with China. A survey showed that people's good feelings went up by 16%, but they are still lower than at the end of 2024. This happened because the US delayed adding taxes on goods from many countries, and the short deal with China helped calm worries about the economy. However, US taxes are still high, and this could cause more problems later. People's feelings about the economy also depend on their political views, but this month, more people from all groups felt positive. The Federal Reserve will probably be happy that people do not expect prices to go up a lot.
