After Israel attacked Iranian targets, violence increased, causing oil prices to rise and stock values to fall on Friday. This happened because people were worried about possible problems with the world's oil supply and economy. Major stock market indexes like the S&P 500 and Dow Jones went down, while U.S. crude oil prices went up a lot. Experts think oil prices might go down if the situation does not get worse, but Wall Street is watching closely. Companies that use a lot of fuel and depend on people traveling, like Carnival and United Airlines, lost money. However, U.S. oil companies, defense companies, and gold became more valuable. Even with these changes, inflation has stayed quite stable, but some people are concerned that President Trump's tariffs could make it rise.
