In June, people felt more positive about the economy than before. This was the first time in six months. Prices did not change much, and the US and China agreed to stop fighting about trade for a while. A report showed that people's confidence went up by 16%. It went from 52.2 to 60.5. But it was still 20% lower than in December 2024. This happened after President Trump decided not to add extra taxes on goods from about 60 countries. He also made a short agreement with China. This helped to make people less worried about the big trade war. However, the taxes on goods in the US are still high compared to the past. They might affect the economy more in the next few months. People's feelings about the economy are also different based on their political group. But this month, more people from all groups felt more positive. The Federal Reserve will probably be happy that people think prices will not go up as much in the future.
