Asian markets started Friday with lower figures after Israel attacked Iran. This incident increased worries about Iran's nuclear program and caused oil prices to rise significantly, including U.S. and Brent crude. Stock indexes in Tokyo, Seoul, Hong Kong, Shanghai, and Australia all dropped. However, Xu Tianchen from The Economist Intelligence believes Asian markets will recover quickly. This is because they are not very involved in the conflict and have strong connections with stable regions like Saudi Arabia and the UAE. Meanwhile, U.S. stock indexes went up on Thursday due to good news about inflation. Lower Treasury yields after the inflation update also helped, suggesting the Federal Reserve might cut interest rates later this year. Despite this, there are still concerns about how Trump's changing tariffs might affect inflation and the possibility of a recession.
