A new report says that European companies in China are spending less money because China's economy is growing more slowly and there is a lot of competition. This is making prices lower. The report also says that problems in China, like the housing market and less interest in Chinese goods from Europe and the US, are hurting these companies. The government is giving money to some industries, like electric cars, which means there are too many of these products. This has caused companies to fight over prices and look for customers in other countries. Europe is worried that more Chinese products will affect businesses and jobs there. So, the EU is putting taxes on Chinese electric cars because they think the Chinese government is helping those companies too much. The report shows that companies are not as confident as they used to be and are making less money.
