In Missouri, people may not pay tax on money from selling things.
A new rule stops a tax for people. It can stop a tax for companies. This is if the state gets more money. The leader, Mike Kehoe, likes it.
Some people like a new money rule. They think it is good for the country. Other people do not like it. They think it is only good for rich people. They think schools get less money. Some people in the government did not like the rule. But the rule changed. Now old people and sick people get more money. You also do not pay tax for baby diapers and things for women.
Other states change tax laws too.
