Shops buy things from other countries. They pay extra money for this. So, things cost more for you. Some people think this will help the USA make more things here. But many things we buy come from many countries. So, things at the shop may cost more.

Shops and people see this now. Some big shops say prices will go up because of trade problems.

Walmart is a big shop. It said prices will go up. This is because things cost more now.

Walmart sells many things. Most of these things are from the U.S. But some things cost more now. This started in April and is more now. It will be a lot more in June and July when people buy things for school.

John said: Things cost more now. For example, bananas are now 54 cents. They were 50 cents. Car seats at Walmart may cost more too. They are $350 now.

Microsoft said it is hard to change things. This is because things cost more money now.

Microsoft said the price of Xbox will change in Europe, the U.K., and Australia. Other countries will know more soon. Some new games will cost more money later this year: $79.99.

Temu and Shein said prices are up. This is because of new rules.

In April, prices went up for some things. This is because of a rule about things from China. Now, the USA and China made a deal. Some prices are a little lower, but things from China cost more now.

Temu stopped sending things from China. Now, they sell things from the U.S. Shein says you do not pay extra for delivery.

The company Stanley Black & Decker said prices went up in April. They want to do it again in summer because it costs more.

P&G makes things like Crest and Tide. P&G said prices may go up. This may happen in July.
