Ukraine's Security Service announced that a drone attack destroyed over 40 Russian planes inside Russia, while Moscow continued its attacks on Ukraine. The attack was planned for more than 18 months, and President Zelenskyy reportedly managed it personally. For this operation, drones were secretly brought into Russia and placed in mobile wooden shelters. At the right moment, the drones were sent out to hit Russian bombers. This attack is believed to have destroyed about a third of Russia's air missile carriers, causing an estimated $7 billion in damage. Meanwhile, peace talks between Ukraine and Russia are still happening in Istanbul. A senior defense official said this attack showed a level of skill the U.S. had not seen before. In response, Russia launched more drones and missiles at Ukraine, killing at least 12 Ukrainian soldiers and injuring over 60 others.
