On Tuesday, President Trump started his trip to the Middle East. He met with Saudi Arabia's leader, Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman. They talked about stopping Iran from getting nuclear weapons, ending the war in Gaza, and keeping oil prices low.
Prince Mohammed was very friendly to Trump when he got off the plane and started his trip in the Middle East.
Then, the two leaders went to a large room at the Riyadh airport. Here, people served Trump and his team traditional Arabic coffee. The people serving wore special belts with guns.
The special welcome started before Trump's plane arrived. Saudi planes flew next to his plane as it came close to the country's capital city.
Trump and Prince Mohammed were going to have lunch at the Royal Court. Some important business people were invited, like the heads of big companies such as Blackstone Group, BlackRock, and Tesla and SpaceX.

What to know about Saudi Arabia and the US working together on nuclear power
Trump is visiting the Middle East while regional crises are happening.
Saudi oil company Aramco made a profit of $26 billion in the first three months of the year. This is a little less than they made last year.
Later, the crown prince will have a formal dinner for Trump. Trump will also go to a U.S.-Saudi meeting about money on Tuesday.
When people from Saudi Arabia and America work together, good things often happen, said Khalid al-Falih, a minister from Saudi Arabia.
Saudi Arabia and other countries in OPEC+ helped Trump early in his second time as president by making more oil. Trump believes that cheap energy helps keep prices low for Americans. The president also said that lower oil prices could help stop the war in Ukraine sooner.
But Saudi Arabia's economy still needs oil a lot. The country needs the price of oil to be about $96 to $98 to have enough money. We don't know how long OPEC+, where Saudi Arabia is the main country, will want to make so much oil. On Monday, the price of a barrel of Brent crude oil was $64.77.
Jon Alterman, an expert on the Middle East, said that when oil prices are low, it is more difficult for countries in the Gulf to change their economies.
Trump went to Saudi Arabia first because they said they would put a lot of money into the U.S. But last month, he went to Italy instead because the Pope died. His first trip outside the U.S. as president was to Saudi Arabia.
The president is visiting three countries: Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and the United Arab Emirates. In these places, the Trump family business, run by his two older sons, is building big properties. These include a tall building in Jeddah, a nice hotel in Dubai, and a golf course with houses in Qatar.
Trump wants to show that his way of dealing with other countries is good for the US. But some people say his actions are making the US alone and causing problems with friends.
People think he will announce agreements with three rich countries. These agreements will be about artificial intelligence, working together more on energy, and maybe selling weapons to Saudi Arabia. Earlier this month, the government said they could sell air missiles for Saudi Arabia's planes. These missiles are worth $3.5 billion.
But Trump came to the Middle East when his main friends there, Israel and Saudi Arabia, did not completely agree with his plans.
Before the trip, Trump said the U.S. would stop bombing Yemen for almost two months. He said the Houthis promised to stop attacking ships on an important trade route.
The government didn't tell Israel about the agreement before Trump announced it. This happened again when Trump didn't tell Israel about talking with countries they both had problems with.
In March, the Israeli Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, did not know about the talks with Hamas about the war in Gaza until they had already started. He also only learned about the US talking with Iran about nuclear power when President Trump told him last month during a meeting.
"Israel will protect itself," Netanyahu said last week after Trump said the Houthis would stop fighting. "If other people help us, like our American friends, that is good."
William Wechsler said it was surprising that Trump did not visit Israel on his first trip to the Middle East.
Wechsler said the main idea from this trip is that the countries in the Gulf are better friends to President Trump than Israel is right now.
Trump wants to try again to make Israel and Saudi Arabia friends. These are two important countries in the Middle East. Before, he helped Sudan, the UAE, Bahrain, and Morocco become friends with Israel.
But Saudi Arabia wants three things to be friends with Israel: protection from the U.S., help with their nuclear energy, and a clear plan for a Palestinian country. It is hard to see how a Palestinian country can happen now because of the war in Gaza, and Israel says they will destroy and take control of the area.
Last week, Prince Mohammed met the Palestinian Vice President, Hussein Sheikh, in Jeddah. This was Sheikh's first trip outside his country since he started his job in April.
Hussain Abdul-Hussain said the Saudi prince seemed to quietly tell Trump that Saudi Arabia wants to see things get better for the Palestinians before they can really start working on a peace deal with Israel.
Abdul-Hussain said, "The Saudis often show what they will do. This is like them saying, 'Don't ask us to be friendly about making things normal.'"
