President Trump went to Saudi Arabia. He talked about stopping Iran's nuclear plans and ending the war in Gaza.

Prince Mohammed met Trump when he got off the plane.

The two leaders went to a large room at the airport. They drank coffee that men in special clothes gave them.

The show started before Trump came. Saudi planes flew with his plane near the city.

Trump and Prince Mohammed had lunch at the Royal Court. Some important business people were there, like Stephen Schwarzman and Elon Musk.

Can Saudi Arabia and the US work together on nuclear power?

Trump goes to the Mideast when problems are big there.

A big oil company in Saudi Arabia made $26 billion. This is a little less money than last year.

Later, the prince will have a special dinner for Trump. Trump will also go to a meeting about business on Tuesday.

Saudi Minister Khalid al-Falih said: "When people from Saudi Arabia and America work together, good things happen."

Saudi Arabia and other countries made more oil. This helped Trump. Trump wants cheap oil for Americans. Cheap oil can help stop high prices. Trump also thinks cheap oil can help end the war in Ukraine.

Saudi Arabia needs money from oil. They need $96 to $98 for one barrel of oil to have enough money. Today, the price is $64.77.

Lower oil prices are a problem for countries in the Gulf. It is harder for them to change their economies.

Trump went to Italy for the Pope's funeral last month.

The president is visiting three countries: Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and the UAE. In these countries, his sons have big building projects like a tall building, a nice hotel, and a place with a golf course and houses.

Trump wants to show his plan for countries is good.

He might talk about plans with three rich countries. The plans are about computers, energy, and maybe selling weapons to Saudi Arabia.

But Trump came to the Mideast when his friends, Israel and Saudi Arabia, did not agree with him.

Before the trip, Trump said the U.S. stopped bombing in Yemen. He said the Houthis promised to stop attacking ships.

The USA did not tell Israel about the plan before Trump said it.

The US did not tell Israel's leader about talks with Hamas. The US also did not tell Israel's leader about talks with Iran until later.

Israel will protect itself, Netanyahu said. If friends help, it is good.

William Wechsler said Trump did not go to Israel on his trip.

He said the Gulf countries are better friends to President Trump than Israel is now.

Trump wants Israel and Saudi Arabia to be friends.

But Saudi Arabia wants three things for peace: help from the U.S. for safety, help with its nuclear power, and a way to a Palestinian country. It is hard to see a Palestinian country now because of the war in Gaza.

Last week, the Prince met the Palestinian Vice President in Jeddah.

Hussain said the prince wants Palestine to be a country. Then Saudi Arabia can be friends with Israel.

Abdul-Hussain said: Saudi Arabia is telling us "no" now. They don't want peace.
