A political party in South Korea had a problem choosing who would be their candidate for president.

On Saturday, there was a problem. They tried to change the leader, Kim. But it did not work. This showed the party has a problem with leaders. The old leader, Yoon Suk Yeol, left. This happened because of something he did in December. Maybe this problem means the party will not win the next election.

Kim was the candidate for president. He won the vote in his party. But other people in his party wanted another person, Han, to be the candidate. They thought Han could win against the other party's candidate, Lee.

Two people talked, but they did not agree. The party wanted a new person to be the leader. But the people in the party said no.

The party did not want to change the person for the election.

Kim said: "Now everything will go back to its place."

Kim was an important worker for change. He was a governor and a politician.

Han was president for a short time after Yoon left his job. Han wants to be president and thinks he is a good choice because he worked for the government for a long time. He says he can help the country with problems from other countries and trade, especially with the USA.

Han said he listened to the party members. He accepts what they said.

Han and Kim are not close to Lee in the latest polls.
