Lawyers said the U.S. told some people they had to go to Libya. But a judge said they can stay and speak to a judge first.

The US wants to send people who are not citizens to other countries.

Sending people back to Libya is not good. People hurt migrants there.

A person from the U.S. government said they wanted to fly people to Libya by plane, but they did not know the time.

Some people from other countries were told they must leave.

Six people in Texas had to sign a paper to go back to Libya.

The lawyers said they were put in different rooms and tied up so they would sign.

A man from the Philippines had a lawyer. The lawyer wrote to ICE. He said his client heard he would go to Libya. The lawyer wrote that his client was afraid to go to Libya. So, ICE must talk to him before he goes.

The judge says people from other countries can say 'no' to leaving.

Lawyers went to court on Wednesday. They asked the judge for help. The judge is helping with a case about sending people back to other countries.

People cannot be sent away from their country if it is not safe for them.

On Wednesday, he said the Court said they cannot send people to Libya.

The government sent people back to their countries. They sent Venezuelans to El Salvador. They also sent other people to Panama and Costa Rica.

Sending people to another country brings many questions. People ask if it is fair. They also ask if people will be safe, especially in El Salvador.

The government wants to send people from these three countries to other countries.

President Trump asked about sending people to Libya. Homeland Security said they don't know if it is true.

The government in Tripoli said, 'We did not make a deal with the U.S. for people to come here.' But they said maybe other people made a deal.

That is about the other government in east Libya. Libya has two main parts, east and west. Different groups control these parts, and different countries help these groups.

The army in east Libya said they will not take people from the US.

It said: "The Libyan Army will not let them come into the areas it controls."

Many people say migrants in prisons in Libya are treated very badly. They say there is killing, hurting people, and other bad things.

Migrants say people hit and hurt them many times. They asked for money from their families.
