The lone juror who wanted to convict Lindsay Clancy of murder said he was certain of her guilt.

Michael Desronvil said the other jurors would not listen to him.

His lawyer released the statement Friday.

It was his first public comments on the case.

Eleven of the 12 jurors were ready to clear Clancy of criminal responsibility.

Most felt the Massachusetts mother was suffering from postpartum psychosis when she strangled her children.

Desronvil sided with prosecutors, who argued Clancy knew what she was doing.

He said in the statement that he had no doubts.

The jury foreperson had claimed in a media interview that Desronvil admitted having reasonable doubt.

She said he wanted to convict anyway.

Desronvil said that was not true.

The deadlock forced the judge to declare a mistrial on Sept. 4.

The Plymouth County district attorney has not said whether he will try Clancy again.

Neither side disputed that Clancy strangled her children, Cora, Dawson and Callan, in the family's home in 2023.

She then tried to end her own life.

Her attorney said she was a loving mother with deep delusions and other mental health problems.

She had been getting treatment for them.

Since the trial ended, Desronvil has been both praised and criticized.

His personal life and past financial and legal problems have drawn scrutiny.

He had a restraining order against him during jury selection.

He also faced eviction over more than $12,000 in unpaid rent.

He was accused of domestic violence in 2021, a charge later dismissed.

His lawyer said he is in an undisclosed secure location in rural northern New England.

A fundraiser for his security, lawyers and lost work has raised over $289,000.

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis said Florida would provide asylum if Desronvil is being harassed.
