On Monday, the government can send some people back to other countries quickly. They cannot ask to stay anymore.
The court did not say why. One judge did not agree. She wrote a strong paper. Two other judges agreed with her.
Tricia McLaughlin from Homeland Security said they might send people to other countries soon. She said, "Get the planes ready." She thinks this helps keep people in America safe.
But a court said one plane to South Sudan will not go now.
The people on the plane in May were from Myanmar, Vietnam, and Cuba. They did bad things in America. The people in charge could not send them home fast.
If they go to South Sudan, they could go to prison. They could also be hurt or die. Their lawyer, Trina Realmuto, said this.
A judge in Boston said they can still talk about their problems in court. The people are now at a navy base in Djibouti.
This case is happening now. The government wants to send away many people. These people live in the U.S. but do not have permission.
Abigail Jackson from the White House said the President can make people follow rules about coming to the country. He can also send bad people who are not from here away. She said the court agrees the President can send people who break the law away to keep our country safe.

South Sudan is a new and poor country. It had many fights since 2011. In 2011, it became free from Sudan. Now, leaders have problems. This could start another war.

The government sent a man from Guatemala to Mexico by mistake. He was gay. He said bad things happened to him there. Then, the government brought him back to the U.S. This was the first time someone came back after being sent away since Trump was president.
The judges had a similar problem. Trump wanted to send people from Venezuela to a bad prison in El Salvador. They could not easily go to court.
But the judges stopped people from leaving. They said people need time to talk to a court before they go. This is because of an old law.
The court agreed with Trump before. So, his government can stop many immigrants from staying.
