According to US officials, at least ten people in the US got sick from Listeria in ready-to-eat food. Because of this, one company is taking back some of its products.

The US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) said on Saturday that officials are looking into an illness linked to food made by a company called Fresh & Ready Foods in San Fernando, California. The FDA said 10 people in California and Nevada got sick and had to go to the hospital.

Federal officials said they started looking into the recent outbreak last year but didn't have enough proof to find where it came from. They said the investigation started again in April after FDA investigators found a type of Listeria in samples from Fresh & Ready Foods that was the same as the one causing the outbreak.

Fresh & Ready Foods voluntarily recalled some products. You can find these products by looking at their "use by" dates, which are between April 22 and May 19 this year. The brand names are Fresh & Ready Foods, City Point Market Fresh Food to Go, and Fresh Take Crave Away.
