A court said a student from Turkey can come back to New England. She was in a place far away. The court will see if her rights were okay and if she can go free.
Three judges in New York said yes to Rumeysa Ozturk. This was after a meeting on Tuesday. A government request for more time was not allowed. Rumeysa Ozturk was in Louisiana for more than six weeks. She wrote a paper about the school and the war in Gaza.
The court said Ozturk must go to ICE in Vermont by May 14.
Ozturk has a court case about coming to the country. The case is in Louisiana. Ozturk can be in the court case from far away, the court said.
A judge in Vermont said a woman must come to court.
She had to finish by May 1. She had a meeting in Burlington on Friday. She had another meeting on May 22.
The court said the case must stay in Louisiana.
The court said the man can go to the meeting in Vermont. It is important for him to be there.
The government says it is hard for Ozturk to be at her court case in Louisiana from far away. But the government does not say she cannot be there from far away.

Police stopped Ozturk on a street in Boston on March 25. They took her to different places and then put her on a plane. She went to a place where they keep people. Her student paper was not good anymore, but nobody told her this.
Ozturk's lawyers asked for help in one place, but they could not find her or talk to her for a long time after she was stopped. The judge in that place sent the case to a different place.
The court said, "The government says this transfer was bad. The government is not right."
Ozturk and three other students wrote in the school newspaper. They said the school should listen to students about Palestine and money.
A paper from the government said Ozturk cannot come to the US.
A government person said Ozturk helped a group called Hamas.
"People should not go to prison for what they think about politics," said Esha Bhandari, who helps Ozturk. "It is bad she is still in prison. We are happy the court said she can see people and talk to her lawyer."
