He said the aim was to show the “reality of what he’s done and unreality of his narrative.”

The filmmakers talked to lawyers before they used the computer-made image.

Ashley St. Clair appears in the film.

She has a child with Musk and used to work as a conservative influencer.

She said she refused a $40 million offer to keep quiet about their relationship.

She also took legal action against Musk’s AI company.

The reason was deepfake images of her.

The film is almost four hours long.

It covers Musk’s childhood, his takeover of X, and his work with the Trump administration.

Gibney said Musk changed Twitter’s algorithm to put hate first.

He called Musk “extremely” dangerous to democracy.

The film warns about data collected on U.S. citizens.

It will come out in theaters in October.
