Even though they found the cause and started fixing it, Google Cloud could not say when the problem would be completely solved. This incident highlights the importance of Google Cloud, which is the fastest-growing part of Alphabet Inc., earning $43.2 billion in revenue last year, a 31% increase from the previous year, even though most of Alphabet's profits still come from Google's search engine.
