Google's app for iPhones has a new tool. It helps you understand hard words on websites. You can stay on the page to read.
Simplify helps you understand hard text. It keeps the main ideas. Google found people understood it better.
Google wants you to use its tools for hard things, not other tools like ChatGPT.
You can make text simpler with the Simplify button.
Google's blog shows an example. For instance, a text might say: "This disease is bad for the lungs. It hurts the lungs in many ways."
This sickness makes the lungs sick. It hurts the small air parts and the lung material. The special cells in the lungs are different. The body makes more things to help control these cells. The blood tubes in the lungs also change a lot.
Google says the new feature helps people understand hard things when they learn online.
We want our computer programs to say difficult ideas in simple words. They must not make mistakes or forget important things. The new words must help people understand difficult things without changing the first meaning.
Simplify is coming to iPhones this week.
