The Oklahoma City Thunder won against the Indiana Pacers with a score of 123-107 in Game 2 of the NBA Finals. This made the series tied at 1-1. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander was the best scorer for the Thunder with 34 points, and Alex Caruso added 20 points from the bench. This was the team's first win in a finals game since 2012. Even though the Pacers won Game 1, they could not play well in Game 2, despite a short comeback in the third quarter. It is important to note that the Pacers are the first team since Miami in 2013 not to have any player score 20 points in the first two games of the finals. Gilgeous-Alexander also made history by becoming the player with the most points in these playoffs. The series will now go to Indianapolis for Game 3. This will be the first finals game in that city in 25 years.
