Coco Gauff easily reached the French Open quarterfinals, even though she had forgotten her rackets for a match earlier. This led to some friendly jokes with Frances Tiafoe, another American player who also reached the quarterfinals and had made the same mistake. Tiafoe jokingly called Gauff "Mrs. Mature," and she replied that playing professional tennis really makes you grow up. Gauff admitted she didn't have a good comeback to Tiafoe's teasing. Despite this, Gauff will play Madison Keys in an all-American match in the quarterfinals on Wednesday. Gauff also mentioned that people often see her as mature because she became successful in tennis at a young age, like when she did very well at Wimbledon at 15 and won her first major title at 19.
