Freddie Freeman, with a display of prodigious batting, notched two singles and a bases-clearing triple, propelling the Los Angeles Dodgers to a decisive 10-1 victory over the Miami Marlins on Wednesday.

Freeman's formidable contribution, encompassing four RBIs and prolonging his hitting streak to an impressive dozen contests, was instrumental in the MLB-pacesetting Dodgers' (25-12) successful sojourn in Miami, wherein they seized two of three encounters and secured their fourth consecutive series victory; his individual performance across the series was particularly noteworthy, highlighted by an outstanding eight hits in thirteen at-bats, accompanied by six RBIs and a pair of home runs.

Shohei Ohtani not only laced a triple but also accumulated three walks on Wednesday, notably drawing an intentional free pass amidst a decisive six-run seventh inning against the beleaguered reliever Lake Bachar.

The pinch-hitter, James Outman, bolstered the Dodgers' advantage with a three-run blast in the denouement of the ninth inning.

Landon Knack (2-0) yielded but four hits and zero runs while fanning five following his earlier Wednesday elevation from Triple-A Oklahoma City; Matt Sauer, likewise recalled, took over for Knack and hurled the final four innings to notch his inaugural career save.

Miami's initial pitcher, Valente Bellozo, yielded a mere solitary hit whilst fanning seven adversaries across five and a third innings devoid of runs. He was succeeded by Cade Gibson after facing one batter in the sixth frame, thereby obviating a third confrontation with Ohtani, who subsequently connected for a triple off Gibson, who was charged with the loss (0-1), during the ensuing plate appearance.

The neophyte backstop, Augustin Ramirez, distinguished himself with a brace of hits, a single and a double, for the beleaguered Marlins (14-22), an outfit whose recent form has been parlous, having suffered nine defeats in their previous eleven outings.

Having previously notched a single in the sixth frame, Jesús Sánchez ultimately proved pivotal in engineering Miami's lone tally via a sacrifice fly in the ninth.

In the seventh inning, the Dodgers decisively amplified their lead against Bachar, who, upon entering the game, surrendered a walk, a single, and a subsequent run-scoring single. Opting to leave first base unoccupied, Bachar then issued an intentional walk to Ohtani, followed by a walk to Mookie Betts with the bases already occupied. This sequence culminated in Freeman's bases-clearing triple, immediately succeeded by yet another run-scoring single.

Through the initial quinquennial innings, the Dodgers mustered but a solitary hit against Bellozo, subsequently unleashing a barrage of eleven hits against four Miami relief pitchers.

The Dodgers are poised to inaugurate a four-game set in Arizona on Thursday, with right-handed pitcher Yoshinobu Yamamoto (4-2, 0.90) slated to take the mound; concurrently, the Marlins, having a day of respite on Thursday, will dispatch right-handed pitcher Max Meyer (2-3, 3.92) to commence a three-game series against the Chicago White Sox on Friday.
