Alpine F1 team has a new driver for some races: Franco Colapinto instead of Jack Doohan.

Alpine said the boss left. The team said Flavio Briatore will help. He will do the boss's job.

Colapinto will race with Pierre Gasly from the race in Italy. They will check again before the race in the UK in July.

Alpine is ninth in the F1 teams list. The next race is May 16-18 in Imola.

On Sunday, Doohan hit a car at the start of the race and then crashed.

Oakes said the young Australian driver will race in Miami.

Doohan will be the team's reserve driver again.

Jack Doohan is a Formula 1 driver. His father was a famous motorbike racer. Jack drove in Formula 1 last year. This year, he drives for the Alpine team in Australia. He is the new driver for Alpine.

Colapinto is now a reserve driver for Alpine. Before, he drove for Williams in 2024. He got five points with Williams. He started driving for them in August because Logan Sargeant stopped.
