The new idea came after two weeks. Before that, a judge said the old idea was not good. He told the two groups to talk again.

The plan changes the number of players for teams. Football teams can have 105 players now, not 85. Wrestling teams can have 30 players now, not 9.9.

Wilken felt bad for the many players who lost their place on the team.

Wilken wanted the lawyers to change one part. The NCAA said no at first. They said changing it would make things bad. But Wilken said they must change it. If not, the whole plan would be in danger.

The lawyers said they helped the schools a lot. Schools could bring back players and get new players.

Schools can still choose their players. The new rules do not stop this. If a player lost their place because of the new rules, they will get it back.
